Stadium maps & pregame plans

Know where to park, where fans gather and how to get to the gate before the game starts. Lot access and rules can change by event, so confirm details with the venue before leaving.

Rays home base

Tropicana Field

1 Tropicana Dr, St. Petersburg, FL 33705

Pregame spots

Lot 2 / 1st Ave S

Closest to the rotunda gate and the easiest walk in. Fills first on weekend games.

16th Street lots

Cheaper, more room to spread out. The regular tailgate crowd sets up here.

Central Ave district

Not a tailgate, but a great pregame — walk over from the Grand Central bars and breweries.

Parking play

  • On-site Tropicana Field lots run roughly $20–$25; prepay online to skip the gate line.
  • Downtown St. Pete garages are $5–$10 and a 10–15 minute walk through the Edge District.
  • Rideshare drop-off on 16th St S clears out fast after the last out.

Bucs home base

Raymond James Stadium

4201 N Dale Mabry Hwy, Tampa, FL 33607

Pregame spots

Lot 14 / Himes Ave lots

The classic Bucs scene. Big rigs, grills, cornhole everywhere. Get there right at lot open to grab a double space.

Tampa Bay Blvd lots

Cheaper cash lots a short walk from the north gates. Friendlier for first-timers and families.

North Boulevard & Columbus

Locals' spot. Shade from the oaks, quieter, easy post-game exit toward the interstate.

Parking play

  • Official stadium lots: roughly $50–$80, prepaid online only for most lots.
  • Cheaper unofficial lots along Himes Ave and Tampa Bay Blvd typically run $20–$40 cash.
  • Rideshare pickup/drop-off is on the north side near Lot 14 — expect a long post-game queue.

Lightning home base

Benchmark International Arena

401 Channelside Dr, Tampa, FL 33602

Pregame spots

Thunder Alley

Free outdoor plaza on the arena's south side. Live music, food trucks, big screens. Opens ~90 minutes before puck drop.

Sparkman Wharf

Open-air food hall two blocks away. Grab a bite and walk in — best value pregame downtown.

Channelside Bay Plaza

Bars and patios packed with blue jerseys. Arrive early on weekend games or you're standing.

Parking play

  • Amalie/arena garages: about $25–$40 depending on the opponent.
  • South Regional garage and Channelside garage are the closest walk-ups.
  • Street and lot parking in Ybor plus a short rideshare is usually the cheapest play.
