Home of the pirate ship in the north end zone — a cannon fires after every Bucs score. Clear-bag policy in effect at every gate.

Getting there

From mid-Pinellas: Gandy Blvd → Dale Mabry Hwy north. Roughly 35–50 minutes without traffic.
From north Pinellas: Courtney Campbell Causeway → Veterans Expwy south → Dale Mabry. About 35 minutes.
From south Pinellas: I-275 north over the Howard Frankland, exit Dale Mabry (Exit 41B).
Leave two hours early for a 1pm kickoff — Dale Mabry backs up for miles on game day.

Parking

Official stadium lots: roughly $50–$80, prepaid online only for most lots.
Cheaper unofficial lots along Himes Ave and Tampa Bay Blvd typically run $20–$40 cash.
Rideshare pickup/drop-off is on the north side near Lot 14 — expect a long post-game queue.
Free-ish option: park downtown and take the streetcar/rideshare combo on big games.

Know before you go

Clear bag only (12" x 6" x 12") — small clutch also allowed.
Tailgating opens about four hours before kickoff.
Bring sunscreen for any 1pm September/October game. Shade is scarce.

Before the gates

Tailgating Bucs

Bucs tailgating is the real event — lots open four hours before kickoff and the whole Dale Mabry corridor turns into one giant cookout.

Lot 14 / Himes Ave lots

The classic Bucs scene. Big rigs, grills, cornhole everywhere. Get there right at lot open to grab a double space.

Tampa Bay Blvd lots

Cheaper cash lots a short walk from the north gates. Friendlier for first-timers and families.

North Boulevard & Columbus

Locals' spot. Shade from the oaks, quieter, easy post-game exit toward the interstate.

What to bring

Pop-up canopy — shade is non-negotiable for a 1pm kickoff
Charcoal or propane grill plus a fire extinguisher
Two coolers: one drinks, one food. Ice melts fast in September
Cornhole boards and a portable speaker
Trash bags — you're expected to pack out your own

Lot rules

Tailgating opens ~4 hours before kickoff and must wrap by kickoff
One parking space per vehicle — no saving spots with chairs
No glass bottles, no kegs, no deep fryers
Charcoal must be dumped in the marked coal bins, never on the asphalt
Clear-bag policy applies the moment you head to the gate
