Burger Week
Every August the whole of Madeira Beach — John's Pass boardwalk included — turns into one giant burger crawl. Eighteen kitchens each build one signature burger for $10, you stamp your passport at every stop, and the best burger on the beach gets crowned at the end.

Passports are required to play along — grab one at any participating restaurant, get it stamped with every $10 burger, and you're entered for the prize drawings. Burgers are available all day at most stops, but the boardwalk kitchens sell out on weekend nights.

Getting there
- From St. Pete: Central Ave west to Treasure Island, then Gulf Blvd north over the John's Pass bridge.
- From Clearwater: Gulf Blvd south through Indian Rocks and Redington — about 25 minutes.
- From Tampa: I-275 to SR-694 (Tom Stuart Causeway) west, straight into Madeira Beach.
Parking
- John's Pass Village garage on 129th Ave is the easiest all-day spot for the boardwalk restaurants.
- Metered lots run the length of Gulf Blvd — pay by app and hop between stops.
- Weekend evenings fill by 5pm. Park once mid-village and walk the crawl.
Know before you go
- Split burgers with your group — most people get through three or four stops in an afternoon.
- Get the passport stamped at the register before you eat; kitchens get slammed at dinner.
- Boardwalk stops (Hooters, Friendly Fisherman, Sculley's, Pirate's Pub, Walt'z) are all walkable from one another.
- Several kitchens close their burger at 9pm even when the bar stays open late.
